BENJAMIN ALLEN

Benjamin Allen is a grief recovery specialist, author, and speaker whose family was struck by tragedy in 1982. Benjamin’s wife, Lydia, received a blood transfusion infected with HIV during the birth of their first child, Matthew. He and Lydia had another child, Bryan, before they were informed of her infection. Benjamin’s wife and their two children died between 1985 and 1995.

Finally, after many years of emotional and spiritual exploration, Benjamin came to a place of peace. An international best-selling author, he wrote Out of the Ashes, Healing in the AfterLoss, Grief Coloring Book, and Seasons of Solace to honor the legacy of his wife and two sons and to help others in their journey through grief. Certified by The Grief Recovery Institute, Benjamin has worked with grieving individuals and groups for decades.
